When an individual enters our High Street practice in Sidmouth or receives us in their own home we aim to offer them a long term inividual plan of eye care, tailored to meet their unique set of perceptions, ocular needs and circumstances.

We actively tailor our care to correspond with each persons requirements using a series of inductions and planned events that serve as opportunities for each client to consider their ocular care in the widest sense of themselves.

Working in partnership with the West Of England Eye Unit in the monitoring of glaucoma patients and as holders of the NHS Gold Standard for access, we are able to bring to you the very best eyecare the Southwest has to offer.

Practice Goals include:-

• To provide shared care for glaucoma patients living within the Sidmouth and East Devon area in partnership with the West of England Eye Unit. This ground breaking commitment by the Primary Care Trust to provide HRT monitoring to patients within the optical practice is set to reduce the numbers of patients currently accessing the hospital without need.
  
  
• Offer patients with conditions such as diabetes, complex prescriptions and age related conditions an eye examination that enables them to work in partnership with us to maximise their ocular health.
  
  
• Visit those individuals who are in hospital, nursing or housebound and provide an eye examination that is personal, using modern domiciliary technology that aims to value them and their needs.
